Gotham Welcomes Gordon’s Uncle Into the Family

This season seems to be the introduction of new family members for Gotham. Early on, we saw the arrival of Carmine Falcone's son Mario (James Carpinello) in the new season. He came in as Dr. Lee Thompson's (Morena Baccarin) new beau.

Now, we see the Gordon family extend in the show his time, as Gotham welcomes in an older Gordon, Frank, Jim's uncle. This role will be played by none other than James Remar.

According to TV Line, the Dexter alum will be a sort of double-faced and possibly double-edged man. He is supposedly a master in playing both sides. What's more, he's the who can keep a secret—whether it's his own or it's others, we're not sure yet at this point.

Frank Gordon will be returning 25 years after he abandoned Jim. He did this right after Jim's dad died from a car crash, so we know that there will be some drama there. Frank will also be looking to reconnect with his nephew, but with their history and a supposed dark secret within him, things are surely heading for a frenzy spiral for our buddy Jim.

Gotham's finale for its fall run will air on Nov. 28, so we'll be seeing more of Remar and the chaos he'll bring once the show returns sometime in early 2017.
