Is Gotham ready for Selina Kyle?
The young pre-Catwoman character (played by Camren Bicondova) finally gets her own short vignette teaser just before fans get a taste of Gotham's season 3. In the clip, seen below, Selina says a very simple line that pretty much sums up what she's been doing so far:
"What do you need? What do you want? Money? Information? I can get it. I can give it. I can be useful. And you don't need to worry about me. I got nine lives."
We've seen her in action last season, where she basically switches sides in a snap of a finger—the fickleness of a cat.
However, just how far Selina will go this time to toe the line between good and bad, it will surely have a lot more consequences. Given that Gotham will open its new season to so many character changes, I'm sure Selina will get her own dose of change—or perhaps even challenge.
Just recently, we saw Jim Gordon's (Ben McKenzie) own mini clip. Here, we see a role that fits McKenzie like a glove. Remember The O.C.? It's like a Ryan Atwood who grew up without meeting the Cohens.
"These days, I go home when I want. Get drunk when I want. At the end of the day, I can sleep, ‘cause saving Gotham is not my job anymore. Running down strangest freaks pays the rent money. Let someone else, serve and protect."
It's obvious that he's hurting from the loss of ladylove Dr. Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin). And things will surely get worse, when his big rival comes in.
Gotham will premiere its third season on Sept. 19 on Fox.
