GOTG Vol. 3: What GOT's Nikolaj Coster Waldau Could Look Like as Adam Warlock

One mid-credits scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teased the creation of Adam Warlock, and it looks like he'll be coming back for the third movie. We still have no idea who Gunn wants to play Warlock, but BossLogic has given us a mock-up of what Jaime Lannister actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau could look like as the character.

Of course, there are also some other great choices for the character. BL also did the same type of fanart for Alexander Skarsgard. Not too long ago, he also made one for Zac Efron.

When it comes to Guardians, I don't think looks are the only important thing when it comes to casting Adam, but also the comedic timing of the actor. We don't know how well Coster-Waldau would do with a comedic role, but we're already sure that Efron has the comic chops. Though Efron is a bit short, I'm sure we could spend the entire movie with the Guardians just making fun of him for his height, but then again, I'm sure Gunn could do better than that.

For now, Gunn is set to start production on DCEU's The Suicide Squad soon, but he's set to start working on GOTG Vol. 3 come 2020. Though some may be concerned that it's not enough time for Gunn to take a breather, I think a lot of the pre-production work was already done before he was fired from the project. Hopefully he doesn't end up too stressed out.

No release date has been set for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but you can catch them all in Avengers: Endgame now in theaters.
