Ghost In The Shell’s Section 9 Task Force Get New Character Posters

In a few weeks time Ghost in the Shell fans are going to see Scarlett Johansson zip up in Mokoto Kusanagi's nude thermoptic suit as she plays the Major in the live-action adaptation movie, and it looks like Paramount has been rolling out a whole lot more promotional material to amp up the hype.

The studio just released eight brand new character posters featuring the different members of the elite Section 9 task force and they look pretty rad in the Matrix-ishy design. Check it out down here:

There's one for Johansson as The Major, one for Pilou Asbaek's Bato, for Takeshi Kitano's Arameki, Lasarus Ratuere's Ishikawa, Tawanda Manyimo's Borma, Yutaka Izumihara's Saito, Danusia Samal's Ladriya and Shin Han's Togusa. As usual it doesn't give away anything new about the upcoming Ghost in the Shell live-action feature, however the posters definitely look cool, especially since they've been presented as GIFs online. Let's hope that cinemas give away a few of these as freebies when the film comes out next month.

Ghost in the Shell debuts on the big screen on March 31, 2017.
