Get First Look At Jeff Goldblum In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s Behind-The-Scenes Featurette

We're getting the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this Thursday, and Universal has dropped a cool behind-the-scenes look at the movie featuring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and a whole bunch of new characters.

With the threat of Indominus Rex gone, it looks like the main "villain" of the movie will be Isla Nublar itself. The volcanic island looks like it's ready to blow, and raptor trainer Owen will have to find a way to get dinosaurs off the island.

There also looks to be some political intrigue in the film. We get our first glimpse at Jeff Goldblum's returning Ian Malcolm, and it looks like he's been brought to court to weigh in on the disaster that was the events of the first Jurassic World.

What's cool is that the film looks to have a lot of practical effects. Though the first one had its fair share of cool animatronics, some people have complained that there was too much CGI. This movie, however, looks to have a whole bunch of smaller dinosaurs, and it would make sense to have more practical effects this time around.

Colin Trevorrow is out of the director's chair, and J.A. Bayona has been hired to helm this piece instead. Trevorrow is still onboard as producer though. I wonder what would have happened if he never took that Star Wars Episode IX directing job in the first place.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes out June 22, 2018.
