Get A First Look At Thor, Hela, and Valkyrie For Thor: Ragnarok

After the Guardians of the Galaxy make their return in May, Marvel fans will be treated to Thor: Ragnarok in November. A first look has been released for three characters Thor, Hela, and Valkyrie, and Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder is shown sporting shorter hair this time around.

The characters feature on the cover for Entertainment Weekly, and Hemsworth has told the publication, "It was nice not to have to sit in the makeup chair for that hour each morning… It felt like a rebirth for me as the actor but also as the character."

Cate Blancett also talks about her character Hela in the interview, saying, "She's been locked away for millennia getting more and more cross, and then, with a mistake, she gets unleashed and she ain't getting back in that box."

Hela is also seen in the cover without her headdress, and Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie is now seen in full gear. Thor is also seen without his hammer Mjolnir, which is rumored to be destroyed in this movie, and his haircut was probably given to him when he was banished to a far-off dimension from Asgard.

I can't wait to see the reveals for Mark Ruffalo's Hulk as well as Benedict Cumberatch's Doctor Strange. A lot of hype is building around Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok, and I hope he delivers one hell of a movie.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit theaters Nov. 3.
