[THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR JUSTICE LEAGUE]
Despite not having any post-credits scenes before, DCEU has followed suit with Marvel by giving Justice League a mid and post-credits scene; the latter being an appearance from Joe Manganiello as Batman villain Deathstroke. We only got a brief look at the suit in the film, but Reddit has given us a better look at Manganiello without the Deathstroke mask.
Check it out:
Though he isn't wearing the signature eye patch in this one, you'll have a good look at his hair—which I honestly thought looked like a bad wig when I first saw it. Getting a closer look at the armor, you could say that it does kind of look a bit more cartoonish, just by looking at the pouches and shoulder pads. I'm hoping they do a full redesign when Deathstroke finally appears in his own movie.
Speaking of his own movie, Warner Bros is said to be working on a Deathstroke film with The Raid director Gareth Evans at the helm. We still don't know how far into development that movie has gone, but we do know that Manganiello is set to appear as Slade Wilson.
With Deathstroke being such a dead ringer for Deadpool though, I wonder how WB is going to approach the movie title. Though it's true that Deadpool was the one who ripped Deathstroke off, the former has become the more mainstream character, and I don't know how casual moviegoers are going to take "DC's version of Deadpool."
Hopefully everything turns out great.
Catch Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke in the after-credits scene of Justice League, now in theaters.
