Game of Thrones Season 7 Spoilers About Littlefinger Revealed

Warning: Possible spoilers from Game of Thrones Season 7 ahead.

Many Game of Thrones fans would consider Petyr Baelish, a.k.a. Littlefinger (played by Aidan Gillen) to be the show's true villain. After all, it's his fault the Lannisters and Starks were at war in the first place. It's also his fault that Sansa Stark was wed to Ramsay Bolton. Of course, some of us have mixed feelings about him. After all, he collaborated with Olenna Tyrell to poison King Joffrey, saved Sansa from her aunt, and commanded the forces of the Vale to save Jon Snow and win the battle in Winterfell against Ramsay. But of course, no matter what he does, we all know that all he wants is to win the Iron Throne, and if you've seen the finale of Season 6, you know he doesn't seem satisfied about his current position.

Luckily for fans who hate seeing his sinister face, there's a possibility that the next season may be his last. According to a recent plot leak, Littlefinger will be killed in Game of Thrones Season 7. What made fans think that this will happen in the show? Just check out this recent cover photo of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) in winter gear from Entertainment Weekly:

In the photo, you'd notice that the blade hanging on her hip is Littlefinger's Valyrian steel dagger, which was last seen when Baelish tried to kill Ned Stark in Season 1. This fueled speculations on why Arya has Littlefinger's catpaw blade. Essentially, Arya has no way of getting the dagger without killing Littlefinger or stealing it from him, and we know that she's not a stranger to murdering.

So do you think Arya will actually end up killing Littlefinger?

Game of Thrones Season will premiere on July 16, 2017, Sunday on HBO
