Warning: This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones seventh season.
It might seem odd, but some fans are actually blaming everything terrible that's happened during the last few episodes of the seventh season of Game of Thrones on a certain bread baker – the chubby and likeable Hot Pie (Ben Hawkey).
Sure, the Great War between the Night King, the army of undead and the living might seem like an inevitable battle, however it seems like fans on Reddit believe that casualties like Viserion and Thoros of Myre (Paul Kaye) could have been avoided had Hot Pie shut his pie hole.
According to a theory by Reddit user abdo0000, Hot Pie might actually be the reason behind the fall of The Wall and the death of Daenery's (Emilia Clarke)dragon, Viserion in Game of Thrones.
"Hot Pie is the reason behind all of this. It's all because of him. If he didn't tell Arya (Maisie Williams) that Winterfell is under [the] Starks control, Cersei (Lena Headey)could be dead now. Jon (Kit Harington) and his company won't [go] get a White Walker. They won't go beyond the Wall. Viserion would be alive. The Wall won't fall. And all [of] Westeros would be united against the Night King."
It's an interesting theory. If Arya had successfully managed to kill Cersei, then the mess could have been avoided, and so far the youngest Stark girl's proven herself a pretty decent faceless man. Though it might have been a challenge, it's likely that Arya could have gotten close to killing Cersei if she really wanted to.
Still, let's not put all the blame on Hot Pie. The wheels of fate are turning, and no one, not even Hot Pie, can turn it back around.
Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres sometime in 2018 or 2019.
