Gal Gadot Won't Return For Wonder Woman 2 Until Warner Bros Cuts Ties With Brett Ratner

Hollywood is currently going through a shake-up what with big-name actors and directors getting called out for sexual assault and Brett Ratner has also fallen into that net. With Ratner's production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment co-financing the Wonder Woman movie and future DC films, Gal Gadot is taking stand and has given WB an ultimatum.

According to Page Six, a WB insider says:

"Brett made a lot of money from the success of ‘Wonder Woman,' thanks to his company having helped finance the first movie. Now Gadot is saying she won't sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros. buys Brett out [of his financing deal] and gets rid of him."

As of now, RatPac-Dune Entertainment has a $450 million co-financing deal with WB to work on several other movies like Flashpoint, Aquaman, Shazam!, Justice League 2, Cyborg, and the Green Lantern Corps. movie. With Gadot being one of the hottest celebrities in the DCEU right now, she has all the power to force WB's hand.

In my opinion, though it's admirable that Gadot should take a stand against Ratner, I think it's a bit harsh that she would want WB to cut ties with the production company. After all, only Ratner has been accused of all this misconduct. What about all the other people who work for RatPac-Dune who need jobs?

We'll just have to wait and see how all this turns out. In the meantime, we can catch Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in Justice League in theaters Nov. 17.
