After a recent interview with Greg Rucka finally made it official that Wonder Woman is a queer woman, many people have been thinking about potential girlfriends for the Amazing Amazon. One of those people is the actress who currently plays Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, Batman News reports. She even has an actress for the part of Wonder Woman's love interest in mind.

In an interview on the Israeli talk show Good Night with Guy Pines, Gadot talked about the possibility of a female love interest in the sequel to the upcoming Wonder Woman movie. One particular actress was at the top of her list. "I saw her the other day, Halle Berry. She's so beautiful. Wow! She's gorgeous! So… yeah, I could do it with her," Gadot said.

And before anyone claimed otherwise, Gadot appeared to be completely serious in saying this. Halle Berry has acted in comic book movies before, playing Storm in the X-Men movies and much more disasterously, the eponoymous character in the Catwoman movie. Berry is also an Oscar-winner, having won the award for her work on Monster's Ball.

Gadot previously spoke about Wonder Woman's bisexuality, saying that it wasn't touched on in the movie, but she sees it as in line with who the character is. "She's a woman who loves people for who they are. She can be bisexual. She loves people for their hearts," Gadot said.

Wonder Woman will be premiering in theatres on June 2, 2017.

I'm glad Gadot is so supportive of her character getting a female love interest. I would definitely love to see Wonder Woman with a girlfriend in the sequel- presumably that would be set during modern times, so it would make sense for her to move on from her WWI romance with Steve Trevor. And why not have her new flame be a woman? What do you think? Would you like the see Halle Berry as Wonder Woman's girlfriend in the movies?
