It looks like the women in the DC Expanded Universe keep strong together as they prepare for the franchise's highly anticipated female-centric superhero film, Wonder Woman. Though Gal Gadot's first Wonder Woman solo movie is still a few months away from release, the Israeli actress has decided to take to social media to thank the film's director, Patty Jenkins.
Posting on her Facebook page yesterday, the Wonder Woman star expressed the love she has for the well-decorated helmswoman, sharing how close the two have become.
"God damn , the love I have for this woman..#pattyjenkins , you are my sister soul , the best partner to the unique , crazy, mind blowing ,amazing, WW journey , and the woman I share so much with.. woke up missing you! Can't wait to travel the world with you and share our work with everyone" Gadot wrote in her post.
Reactions to early screenings of Wonder Woman have been mostly positive, and while it's still uncertain how the DCEU film will fare, it's nice to see that Gadot's been enjoying her time in production, and that she's found a soul-sister at that. It's lovely to see women in the Hollywood industry bonding, and from the looks of it Gadot's found a true friend.
Wonder Woman premieres on the big screen on June 2, 2017.
