Free Guy: Hugh Jackman Teases Ryan Reynolds with 'Better' Poster

Though it's been a while since Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds starred in a movie together, the two remain friends and have been having a fun little ‘feud' behind the scenes. With Reynolds now out promoting the release of Free Guy, Jackman has released a ‘better' version of the poster to help market the film.

He shares this edit from @karthik_nj:

For now, Reynolds is yet to come with a rebuttal, but I'm sure it's going to be funnier. Though Jackman may seem to be ‘winning' when it comes to looks and international fame, Reynolds is no doubt the funnier of the two.

If you ask me, I think Reynolds is going to poke fun at Jackman's next movie, Reminiscence, which is set to come out sometime in 2020. If not, I'm sure he can come up with other ways to get back at Jackman online, whether it be on Twitter or on Instagram.

Though we don't know when the next Deadpool movie is coming out, it's great to see Reynolds in another action comedy with Free Guy. Besides all the explosive shots and action setpieces, Reynolds manages to instill some of his trademark wit and even some jokes that manage to fly over kids' heads. I would expect less from director Shawn Levy who has made some wholesome action with films like Night at the Museum and the acclaimed Netflix series, Stranger Things.

Catch Free Guy when it comes out July 3, 2020.
