Fox Developing Kitty Pryde Film With Deadpool Director

Fox is developing a Kitty Pryde film with Deadpool director Tim Miller.

According to Collider, the film is "very much" in development, and Miller will potentially direct the film. The site reports that Miller is setting the project up at 20th Century Fox, the current studio that owns the film rights for X-Men, Wolverine, X-Force, Deadpool, and The New Mutants, but Disney's recent acquisition of Fox will most likely complicate things, so the film might not ultimately make it to the big screen.

Marvel Comics

Kitty Pryde, a.k.a. Shadowcat is a mutant with the special ability to "phase" or become intangible, which allows her (and anything she's touching) to go through solid objects, levitate, and disrupt electromagnetic fields.

Kitty Pryde appeared in several X-Men films, and fans would remember Ellen Page play the role in X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Which actress would you like to see play Kitty Pryde if this film actually sees the light of day? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
