Along with being able to play as the iconic Jedi Knight, you'll be able to acquire related cosmetics including a Jedi Interceptor glider, back bling, "Obi-Wan's Blade Pickaxe", and an emote. Players can buy them separately or as part of a bundle that comes with a "Kenobi, Surrounded" loading screen.

Players who take part in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup will have the chance to win the outfit and back bling early. That duos event will take place on Sunday with E-11 blaster rifles and lightsabers making a temporary return to the battle royale's island.

This is not the first time Fortnite brought a Star Wars character to its world. Epic Games and Lucasfilm have been working together in recent years to feature them in the popular battle royale. We've seen Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn, Zorii Bliss, and a Stormtrooper in the game before, and more recently, Boba Fett and Mandalorian, the main characters of Disney+'s Star Wars shows, have joined the fray. In 2019, director J.J. Abrams visited the virtual world to show off a clip from The Rise of Skywalker.

The six-episode Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set to premiere on Disney+ on May 27. Ewan McGregor reprises his role from the prequel trilogy of films. Hayden Christensen is also reprising his role as Darth Vader.
