First Teaser Trailer For Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Released During MTV Movie Awards

Warner Bros. didn't just release a new trailer for Suicide Squadat this year's MTV Movie Awards; the studio also released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming pre-Harry Potter film, Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them. The nearly 2-minute teaser gives us a closer look at Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his magical suitcase, as well as glimpses of the Wizarding World in New York. We learn that Newt was "kicked out of Hogwarts for danger of human life with a beast".  We also see Colin Farrell as the Precival Graves, a high-ranking Auror, confidante ot the President of the American magical community, who's set with the task of tracking down Newt.

Synopsis: 

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.  Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them will hit theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.
