First Promo Images Released for Marvel and Shonen Jump's Collaboration Manga

After the recent announcement of the Marvel/Shonen Jump collaboration, new details have emerged in regards to the subject. While it's not yet clear if this collaboration will be getting a Western release, the fact that these two entertainment juggernauts are working together is pretty crazy. Hopefully, we will get some kind of physical release in the near future, especially now that we have more details about the project.

Bleeding Cool reports that these will be seven short stories with Yu-Gi-Oh creator Kazuki Takahashi working on the first and last ones. In addition to that, some artwork for these stories have also been released, complete with color. While the final products will probably be black and white, this is some impressive art and it's always cool to see how different artists handle these characters.

The stories coming out are:

  • Secret Reverse – Part I by Kazuki Takahashi on September 4th.
  • Gag Reel by Hachi Mizuno of Akuten Wars for September 18th.
  • Interview with Heroes by Ken Ogino of Lady Justice for October 2nd.
  • Samurai by Sanshirō Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi of Tsugihagi Quest for October 16th.
  • Halloween Avengers by Mato of Darling in the Franxx, on October 30th.
  • Antman+ by Toyotaka Haneda, of Vocchi-men, on November 13th.
  • Secret Reverse – Part II by Kazuki Takahashi on November 27th.

Honestly, this is pretty cool stuff and it really makes me hope that we'll see this get released worldwide. I enjoyed the manga-like illustrations from South Korea's Avengers K graphic novels and one can only imagine what Takahashi and the other artists have planned, especially with the stunning artwork shared above.
