First Black Panther Movie Footage Revealed

On Monday night, Marvel Studios showed off footage from Black Panther, and although it hasn't been released online yet, various sources hared a description of what they've seen.

According to EW, Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther showed up, but it's the rest of the cast that caught viewers' interests.

Nakia (played by Lupita Nyong'o), a member of the king's female royal guard, single-handedly beats armed assailants in the ungle.

Another footage shows Black Panther in an action scene, with Martin Freeman's Everett Ross and Andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaue talking: "Well, you brought quite the entourage, do you have a mixtape coming out?"; "Oh yeah, I'll actually send you link."

There's another scene that shows key characters making their way to Warrior Falls for T'Challa's coronation as king. Nyong'o, Forest Whitaker's Zuri, and Danai Gurira's Okoye appears in the scene.

Strangely enough, Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger doesn't appear in any of the scenes, but a concept art was revealed showing Jordan sporting long hair.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film is set to release in theaters on February 16, 2018. You can watch the featurette below:
