Final Trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Gives Best Look at the New Dinosaurs

We may be seeing Chris Pratt onscreen next week with the release of Avengers: Infinity War, but he'll be back to grace the screens as dino wrangler Owen in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in June. Universal has just released the final trailer, and it gives us a good idea with what to expect from the plot.

Here's the official description:

It's been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

I don't know if people will consider the entire trailer a spoiler, but I think it was a bad move revealing who the ‘real' villain of the movie is. I mean, come one Universal, we're already going to see it for the dinosaurs; you don't have to go and spoil the plot.

This time around, Colin Trevorrow will not be in the director's chair as J.A. Bayona is helming this film. Trevorrow, however, will be back to make the third Jurassic World movie, which is set to come out in 2021.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters June 22.
