Final Fantasy XV Season Pass Confirmed, Comes with Digital Premium Edition

With a little over a month to go before Final Fantasy XV launches, Square Enix has announced a few more details related to its Season Pass.

It seems that the Season Pass is a must-have so that fans can download additional content following launch. To get this, fans will need to preorder the Final Fantasy XV Digital Premium Edition, Gematsu reported.

This edition already bundles the base game with the Season Pass. Currently, it's already live in the PlayStation Store for only US$84.99. In case you've already booked your preorders for a digital copy, there's an upgrade system that you can avail of. Over at the PlayStation Store, the offer's description did not give any other specific details for the upgrade:

"This Upgrade is a special deal for customers who have already preordered the Final Fantasy XV digital edition."

No details have been shared as to what the DLC will contain. However, Square Enix has already confirmed way back in June that their plans for what they will include for post-launch content have already been finalized.

Based on other DLCs, there will be probably some new content to extend the story, costumes and weapons, and perhaps a few more gimmicks. After all, the PlayStation VR component did manage to get into the game. There may be more surprises up ahead.

Final Fantasy XV will be out on the PS4 and Xbox One on Sept. 30.
