Fans may be torn with the newest DLC for Final Fantasy XV and its actual contribution to the story. Yet for all the hesitation of fans for the game's expansion, one potential area that Square Enix is currently looking into may just catch your attention.
It seems that Square Enix is looking to develop the story of Ardyn, according to an interview as translated by Gematsu. When asked if here are any plans for the developer to look into Ardyn's past, game director Hajime Tabata was coy about it:
"We do have plans for something like that. Please look forward to it."
Their plans for Ardyn aren't the only ones that the developer teased players to keep a close eye on. Touching on multiplayer elements, Tabata revealed that they are planning to roll out a beta test for the multiplayer before the official service arrives.
In addition, there will be new types of gameplay coming with future downloadable content. These types will vary depending on the theme of the content. Is this pertaining to the future episodes featuring the other boys of the gang? We did see a change with Gladiolus, who had introduced a tank and defense-heavy gameplay.
We'll have to see once Prompto's own episode comes out. Final Fantasy XV is out for the PS4 and Xbox One.
