Final Fantasy VII Remake Sells 3.5 Million Copies Physically and Digitally in 3 Days

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a game many have waited years for so it was naturally going to sell well. Granted, some fans would argue that poor reviews would have hindered that but the game debuted to stellar scores so no one is surprised that the remake is selling like hotcakes. Square Enix was quick to brag about the game's success, which is the kind of flex we have to get used to from big companies.

The company was quick to announce on their social media that Final Fantasy VII Remake has shipped 3.5 million copies in physical and digital stores. We aren't sure if that's a combined ratio, which is likely given the current pandemic but regardless of that, it's clear that fans were not going to let this pandemic take over their fun. Hopefully, gamers stay home after getting their copies, though that's not much of an issue for those that got it digitally.

It doesn't matter if you played Final Fantasy VII before or not, everyone should play Final Fantasy VII Remake. The game is insanely fun, with some great characters and a heavenly soundtrack. Combat is also ridiculously addictive and makes all of those side quests worth it. Basically, if you liked Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts, you're going to love this game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available on PS4. It will probably come to other consoles and game systems next year.
