Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake demo might only have one hour of gameplay but it does have an interesting secret ending, albeit one that doesn't really change anything about this game's story. If you've played the original or have watched extensive walkthroughs of the original game then this secret ending won't mean much since it's something we'll probably see in the final product.
That being said, if you have plans to replay the demo or have yet to check it out, here's how to get that secret ending. During the climactic moment where you have to decide how much time it will take for the bomb to explore, you'll have two options: 20 minutes or 30 minutes. While smart people would choose 30 minutes, you should choose 20 if you want that secret ending.
Don't worry, the timer doesn't start until after the boss fight, which is actually pretty tough if you haven't tried it yet. Anyway, once you've escaped the mako reactor, you'll be treated to an extra scene where Cloud looks at the destroyed reactor and sees an image of, who else?, Sephiroth.
If you're too lazy, here's the secret ending, courtesy of Games Radar:
Honestly, this isn't much of a surprise since the trailers did reveal that Cloud will be haunted by visions of his former hero. It should make for some interesting scenes, especially towards the end when Sephiroth actually appears in front of Cloud and his friends.
