Finally! After eighteen years and three Playstations later, Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake that fans have been wishing for, and this time, it's the real one, and it will be for Playstation 4 and other platforms to follow.
Square Enix announced the news during Sony’s press conference at E3 tonight, following a day full of rumors. “Play it first on PlayStation,” saysthe trailer, implying that it could be released for Xbox One and PC as well. RPG fans have been craving for a remake of Final Fantasy VII for decades, and it's about time that they remake a classic game that we love even though I'd rather see a Final Fantasy VIII remake more. Still, watching this announcement gave me the goosebumps and almost made me release a tear.
