Film Adaptation of Stephen King’s It Gets Chilling New Image


The film adaptation reboot of Stephen King's It is making its way to the big screen in a couple of months from now and it looks New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures have started the supernatural horror film's marketing campaign.

A new image of Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise has just made it on the front cover of Mad Movies July/August Issue and with a finger lifted in front of blood spattered chin, fans are instantly reminded of the chills King's original book gave them when they first read it. The cover story of the French magazine, the It feature gives fans a preview exclusive of the terrifying adaptation.

As usual the new image doesn't tell much, but it sure does add to the chilling impression the first trailer gave viewers when it was released earlier this year.

Here's the synopsis for It:

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, neighborhood kids band together to square off against Pennywise, an evil clown whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

It hits cinemas on September 8 this year.
