Felicity Jones Debunks Star Wars Theory and Assures Fans She is Not Daisy Ridley

Felicity Jones and Daisy Ridley are playing two different characters in the Star Wars cinematic universe, but I can see why some fans would confuse them from another. They're both young British women with dark hair, and they're both heroic characters driven to fight evil.

In MTV's hilarious PSA video to promote Rogue One, Felicity Jones assured fans that she and Ridley are entirely different, and debunks a fan theory that claimed her character, Jyn Erso, is Rey's mother. For more about that theory, click here. Watch the video below:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on December 16, 2016.
