Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Sequel Gets Start Date For Filming

The wizarding world of J.K. Rowling had a successful return to the big screen with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a film that reaped more than $812 million at the global box office and raking in an Oscar Award for Best Costume Design.

Now the film has a sequel scheduled to arrive next year, and according to a My Entertainment World (via Heroic Hollywood), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 is set to start filming this August in the U.K. and in Paris, France. New York has no longer been named as one of the shooting locations of the film.

The European location is understandable since Grindelwald rampaged right over in the area, and though Tina Goldsteine (Katherine Waterson) and her precious sister Queenie (Allison Sudol) are both American, Tina may go on after Newt (Eddie Redmayne).

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them 2 is set to release on Nov. 16, 2018.
