Fantastic Beasts 2: LEGO Set Shows how Grindelwald Escapes

The end of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them had Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) falling into the hands of the Magical Congress of the USA (MACUSA), but everyone knows that he won't be down for long. Thanks to Nerdist, we have a LEGO set that seemingly spoils how Grindelwald escapes in the film.

The set includes 132 pieces and is titled Grindelwald's Escape. It includes a carriage pulled by a familiar creature—a thestral—and two minifigures, one of Grindelwald and another of MACUSA President Serafina Picquery (Carne Ejogo). The two figures come with wands, as well as some extra spell accessories.

The LEGO set is a small one, but it kind of helps piece together what we've seen in the trailers. Now we know that the black carriage with the wizards following behind actually contains Grindelwald, and it's where we'll see him escape—possibly to Paris where Newt is heading.

I'll admit, the reveal of Johnny Depp in the first movie was a tad underwhelming, but hopefully he gets to redeem himself with this sequel. I know he was one of the hottest actors back in the days of the early PotC movies, but his latest run as Jack Sparrow felt a little too forced and tired for me.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald comes out Nov. 16.
