Fans Outraged At Nintendo Over Limited SNES Classic Pre-Orders

When addressing concerns for the possibility of the SNES Classic selling out, Nintendo told fans that they would stock up on copies for everyone. It seems like the beloved gaming company has let them down, as pre-orders for the mini-console are no longer available from Amazon and Best Buy.

To make things worse, pre-orders for the classic console went up at 1 a.m. ET, so most people were asleep when the option was available. A number of night owls were able to take advantage of the time, as they were able to get all of the consoles. Currently, neither Amazon nor Best Buy are taking pre-orders for the mini-console, hence the upset fans.

Sadly, this isn't the first time the company has let down their paying gamers. Nintendo released the NES Classic last year, and it sold out really quickly. This is why the company promised to stock up on the SNES Classic, but that didn't work either. While the company could always announce more copies, they've already angered their fan base who were hoping to get the mini-console around the holiday season.

Fans were hopeful when other retailers like Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and Gamestop announced that they would be accepting pre-orders. However, those pre-orders didn't last long, as the mini-console is once again unavailable.

Nintendo has let their fans down again. It's bad enough that some consumers haven't been able to get a Nintendo Switch - which is only five months old - so this makes the company look even worse. Only time will tell if the company learns from this, or produces more quantities of these beloved mini-consoles, but it seems doubtful.
