On Sunday night, Steven Spielberg held a premiere for

Ready Player One

at SXSW, and the majority of those who attended the event enjoyed the film and praised Spielberg for his brilliant direction. Ernie Cline's novel was amazing and I'm glad that Spielberg didn't disappoint the fans at SXSW. At one point during the premiere, the sound broke while a key battle scene was going on, and some even joked that the speakers couldn't handle the awesomeness of the film.

Synopsis:

The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse.
