Fans Find Hidden Message in Star Wars Film Titles

Star Wars fans are still busying themselves over the enigma of the recently revealed Star Wars: Episode VIII title, The Last Jedi and multiple theories have been circulating online trying to dissect how many the last Jedi possibly (since the word Jedi could stand for both singular and plural forms) be in the upcoming film, and who exactly could the last Jedi be. Now fans have discovered an interesting little bit behind the film's title linking it to its predecessor, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Posting their findings online, Star Wars fans like Ryan Malin, Luke Harper, David T. Cole among many others have discovered that the two titles of the most recent Star Wars film installments actually form part of a sentence.

"The Force Awakens The Last Jedi" sounds like something that could happen in the Star Wars saga, and many have been wondering whether the new discovery could be a mere coincidence, or a part of bigger plan for the franchise.

Others on the other hand have been trying to complete the alleged Star Wars sentence with their suspected title for Star Wars: Episode IX to create "The Force Awakens The Last Jedi From His Long Nap."

It's all pretty fun, and while the discovery could very well be a solid idea, there's no way that Lucasfilm would reveal their big title plans for the Star Wars franchise or the explanations behind them. Not while the film's haven't been released, of course.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes its way to cinemas on December 15 this year.
