Disney has released a new extended TV spot for its live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. The minute-long promotional video isn't much different from the first trailer that broke the record for the most watched trailer in its first 24 hours. Disney hasn't revealed the film's musical numbers yet, and I'm curious to know if the actors can actually pull them off, but so far, things are looking great for this live-action adaptation. This could potentially shatter box office records next year.
Beauty and the Beast is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
The film stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. POtts, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, and Nathan Mack as Chip.
Beauty and the Beast is set to hit theaters in March 17, 2017.
