LEGO Dimensions is in its second year, and to celebrate its continued success, the video game is going all out, adding more than a dozen new pop culture franchises.
LEGO Dimensions will be releasing a host of expansion packs, with exciting team-ups and more adventures teased in a new awesome trailer.
The trailer is bursting with franchise characters, including, among others, Batman, Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, ET, Superman, Adventure Time, Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Lord of the Rings’ Gollum, and even Sonic the Hedgehog!

LEGO Dimensions already has a wide array of franchises in its current catalogue. We see Doctor Who and Batman making their return to the game. Soon, a whole lot of other characters are set to join them in the game.
The first set of expansion packs will arrive on September 27, featuring the Ghostbusters Story Pack, Adventure Time and Mission: Impossible Level Packs, Harry Potter and Adventure Time Team Packs, and The A-Team Fun Pack.
Throughout 2017, other packs will be added based on other thrilling pop culture characters from films and staples such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The LEGO Batman Movie, The Goonies, The Powerpuff Girls, Sonic the Hedgehog, Gremlins, Teen Titans,Knight-Rider,E.T. Extra-Terrestrial, and Beetlejuice. They will be included inspecial releases.
The upcoming expansion packs have just about something for everyone. I’m sure anyone will enjoy playing this game.
