Living up to its name, "The End", which was Fortnite's most recent event, did entail that the game is going to end. Well, maybe for now. In line with that, someone might have hinted that he's responsible for the blackhole thing that left loyal players of the game into despair.

Elon Musk might be responsible for the blackout since he tweeted something sneaky recently. He retweeted a fake news article about him from 2018 which suggests that Musk bought Fortnite then deleted it. Along with the retweet is a short and simple caption, "Haha."

Obviously, Elon Musk only tweeted this for fun and didn't actually attempt to delete the game. Regardless, fans of the game are down that they aren't able to play and are only seeing what seems to be a black hole on the screen.

Surprisingly though, Fortnite News went with the flow and got in on the joke, replying to Musk, they wrote, 'God damn it, Elon." You can check out that tweet below:

Regardless of whoever actually did it and what it actually means, fans just can't wait to get back on their grind and play the game. However, it might take a long time since this might hint to a massive update or even a rumored name change.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Although, the game can't be played yet.
