Elizabeth Olsen Hopes For A House Of M Scarlet Witch Solo Marvel Movie

Now that Marvel's begun working on giving their female superheroes their own standalone movies, it looks like Elizabeth Olsen is starting to hope for a movie for Scarlet Witch.

Olsen recently spoke with Metro at an Avengers: Infinity War fan event, and during her interview with the publication the Marvel star opened up about her hopes for a Scarlet Witch standalone movie.

"I would love to [do a standalone], and I would love it to be 'House Of M,' which is a comic book series of The Vision and Scarlet Witch having a make-believe family," the actress told the publication.

The "House of M" story which was published back in 2005 centers around Wanda's romance with Vision, and while it's likely that Vision might become one of the casualties of the battle between the Mad Titan Thanos and the Avengers in Infinity War, nothing's entirely impossible in Marvel.

"She [Wanda] believes she has twin children – she alters her own reality to believe that, but really she has a miscarriage and Vision goes along with it," Olsen said, explaining the premise of the comic. "Then they [Vision and her family] have to tell her that she was make-believing the entire time, and she has a very traumatic experience and screams, and kills all the mutants – but that's an X-Men story so we'd have to adjust the ending."

While it might simply be wishful thinking, a "House of M" adaptation could work out with Disney acquiring 20th Century Fox and its assets.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres on April 27.
