Elden Ring: New Launch Trailer Reveals New Locations and Epic Boss Fights

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have released a new trailer for Elden Ring, the highly-anticipated action RPG directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and includes story elements by A Song of Ice and Fire novelist George R.R. Martin.

The official launch trailer teases new bosses and locations as it offers a further glimpse at the world of Elden Ring.

“Though shattered, it shall guide thee,” says the trailer's description. “Though fractured, it yet calls. Enact thy will. Become Lord. Seek the Elden Ring.”

The trailer teases the awakening of your character, the Tarnished, showing that mysterious light finds and revives them, and we get to see more of the world of the Lands Between - a dark, fantastical world populated by dangerous monsters, including giant lobsters!

“Never met someone with a taste for prawn I didn't trust,” says an enigmatic character, and we get to see a player character plucked from the ground by its huge lobster claw.

There's a lot of dragons, and there's a boss fight that seemingly takes space in space, and elsewhere, a player character is riding some kind of contraption down a river of lava. There are more weird-looking creatures, including a contorted statue made of heads and a spider-like boss with a tormented face, human hands, and large wings. This trailer is loaded with creepy, nightmarish imagery that will surely haunt many players.
