The newly-released Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer raised some questions about the characters and images. Not a lot of details have been released yet, but we already got some fans speculating about Jyn's connection with Rey.
Mr. Sunday Movies has released a video discussing the Easter eggs and references found in the trailer. I always count on Mr. Sunday when it comes to Easter eggs for new trailers, and I think he nailed some good points here: a clothing that resembles something worn by a character in the Legends universe, a dark mysterious figure that could be Darth Vader but highly unlikely (Perhaps, someone played by Mads Mikkelsen?) , and a droid that's probably motion-captured and/or voiced by Alan Tudyk.
