Most Marvel shows on Netflix have been well-received (We're glaring at you, Iron Fist), and it looks like the upcoming crossover series, The Defenders, won't be any different. Now, the early reviews from critics have hit the webs, and they should get fans hyped.
So far, The Defenders has an 80% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its first few episodes. This is only aggregating the reviews for the first four episodes of the 8-episode Marvel series.
Of course, the score could change as we get the closer to the official premiere date on Netflix. Maybe the last four episodes would disappoint many but I have high hopes that it won't.
So far, Luke Cage has the highest Rotten Tomatoes score with 96%, Jessica Jones at 92%, Daredevil at 86%, and Iron Fist at 17%.
Hopefully, The Defenders will continue to get more positive reviews, and we'll share our reviews here on Epicstream after the show premieres on Netflix.
Marvel's The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
Marvel's The Defenders is set to debut on Netflix on August 15.
