E3 2016: Batman: Arkham VR is A Murder Mystery Coming to PS4 This October

At Sony's E3 press conference, Batman: Arkham VR was announced and the trailer featured the voiceover of Mark Hamill as the Joker.

Although the teaser trailer wasn't as revealing as the Resident Evil 7 footage, we do know that Batman: Arkham VR is a murder mystery developed by Rocksteady Studios, and it focuses on Batman's detective skills, and is exclusive to Playstation VR.

On the Playstation Blog, pricipal designer Bill Green wrote a post revealing that you'll be able to explore locations like Wayne Manor and the Batcave. You'll be able to explore Bruce Wayne's home, and descend into the Batcave.

According to Rocksteady Studios, they've found new ways to use Batman's detective skills in the game. The game will feature a "highly focused, very personal story entirely in first-person." Green describes it as "a murder mystery in the style of the classic Batman comic books, but with a strong dose of the dark psychology that the Arkham games are well known for."

Green added: "We all feel that we've ended up creating an amazing new Batman experience that is both complementary and a counterpoint to the epic grandeur of Batman: Arkham Knight."

Batman: Arkham VR will exclusively be released for the Playstation 4 on October.
