Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 Announces Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku as DLC

During the end of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour, Bandai Namco finally unveiled FighterZ Pass 3, which adds a surprising five characters to the mix. Most of us were prepared for only four more characters so knowing that five more combatants are coming is great. Unfortunately, they only revealed two of the five characters, though those two are big fan-favorites; Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku, the latter of whom was expected while the former was someone fans were hoping to see.

Although he was announced beforehand, Ultra Instinct Goku will be coming to FighterZ after Kefla. Ultra Instinct Goku will be coming to the game this Spring, an odd decision since, once again, he was announced in advance. On the bright side, Kefla, the fusion of Kaulifla and Kale, will be coming out later this month, on February 28.

This is probably the better move to make since Kelfa will feel fresh in comparison to yet another Goku. There are currently six "Gokus" in the game; Goku (SSJ), Goku (SSGSS), Goku, and Goku (GT), along with his two fusion forms with Vegeta, Gogeta, and Vegito. Goku Black is also arguably a "Goku" since it's his body, albeit one that's possessed by Zamasu. You can also count Bardock if you want since he's Goku's dad but looks just like him, minus the scar.

Yeah, okay, Kefla is the better starter for FighterZ Pass 3. She's someone fans have wanted in the game since a.) Dragon Ball FighterZ is severely lacking in female characters and b.) she's just awesome.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. FighterZ Pass 3 will come out later this month, likely on February 28, which is when Kefla becomes available. It will also have some presence in this year's Evo.
