Originally having vague "early 2018" release window, Bandai Namco have announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be coming out on February 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The release window was revealed in a trailer that originally debuted in Gamescom. While the exact date wasn't given, we at least know which month to expect the fighter next year.

Release window aside, we also got to see some of the game's newer fighters in action. Krillin and Piccolo show off a number of their signature moves, like the Special Beam Cannon, Light Grenade and Destructo Disc. We also saw Android 16 and Android 18 in action, after they were first revealed in a Japanese magazine last week. Interestingly enough, Android 17 joins 18 in her fights, aiding in combos and her finisher.

We also got a small glimpse at the game's story mode near the end of the video, which is an original tale that involves the rebirth of Android 16 and the debut of "Super Androids." It looks like these Super Androids will be robotic clones of the Z Warriors and will likely act as cannon fodder enemies for the story mode. Bulma is also briefly seen in one of the story's cinematics, sporting her current look from Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball FighterZ comes to consoles and PC on February 2018. A closed beta of the game will run from September 16 to 18 of this year for PS4 and Xbox One only. Registration for the beta starts today.
