Dragon Ball FighterZ: Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black Confirmed

The latest issue of V-Jump Magazine (via Gematsu) have confirmed that Beerus, Goku Black, and Hit will be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fans will be very happy to know that these fighters will not be DLC and are a part of the game's on-disc roster. Most of the game's fighters are from Z, so it's cool seeing more characters from Dragon Ball Super. Here's hoping we get characters from the original Dragon Ball as well.

V-Jump detailed the Meteor Special Attacks for each character, all of which have unique capabilities. Beerus has "God of Destruction's Judgement," which switches from a throwing attack to a headshot rush technique. He will also have Sphere of Destruction, a giant fireball move that was previously seen in Battle of Gods. This was also his Ultimate Attack in Xenoverse 2.

Hit has to be one of the more unique characters in the franchise, so it makes sense that his moves in the game would also feel different. The Universe 6 assassin has "I Continue To Grow" as his Meteor Special, which stops time and has the character unleash a barrage of attacks. As expected, Hit will be a close-range character, relying on strikes and quick movement to get an advantage.

Goku Black is in his Super Saiyan Rose' form and has "Work of the Gods" as his Meteor Special. This has Black turn his hand into a blade and unleash a devastating attack on his opponent, which he follows up with a cloning attack. Zamasu will also help Black during fights, similar to how Android 17 helps out Android 18.

Dragon Ball FighterZ comes out next year on January 26, 2018, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
