Dragon Age & Mass Effect Comics Are Coming in 2017

Dark Horse will release new comics set in the worlds of both Dragon Age and Mass Effect, and several other projects related to the BioWare franchises, the publisher announced today, IGN reports.

Ahead of NYCC 2016, Dark Hose has revealed the comic book series Mass Effect: Discovery, the first issue will be released in Spring 2017. The comic's story is by Mass Effect Andromeda's creative director Mac Walers, lead writer John Dombrow, and Jeremy Barlow, a writer on the Mass Effect: Foundation comic series. Guzman will illustrate for the series while Barlow will write the story.

Dark Horse will also launch Dragon Age: Knight Errant in 2017, with the first issue set to be available on May 10, 2017. It will be written by Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir, and will feature the art of Fernando Heinz Furukawa, and the covers will be illustrated by Sachin Teng. Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will be released on February 8, 2017.

Mass Effect Discovery is part of what Dark Horse is calling The Mass Effect Andromeda Program, and it will also include The Art of Mass Effect Andromeda,Mass Effect Adult Coloring Book, and Mass Effect Andromeda — The Poster Collection. The coloring book will be released on March 1, 2017, the Andromeda art book will be available on March 21, 2017, and the poster collection will be released on Fall 2017.

Dark Horse will also release a Dragon Age adult coloring book, which will be available on February 8, 2017.
