Doom Eternal Gameplay Trailer is Fantastic and Everyone Should Buy This Game

Doom Eternal looks like one of the best video game sequels coming out since it looks like an even more insane version of the 2016 Doom reboot. While the first-person shooter has always been gameplay first and story-telling second, this new Doom Eternal gameplay trailer actually gives us more lore and story than expected, though the main focus is still on shooting aliens and killing dudes.

If there's anything to be disappointed by, we do sort of see Doom guy's face and we now know that he's a black-haired white dude. Some fans might also take umbrage with the fact that the release dates for the Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia versions haven't been revealed, so if you were planning to get it for those game systems, that might disappoint you.

However, in terms of gameplay, Doom Eternal continues to look fantastic and we just can't wait for it. We already know that the game will have more interesting weapons and exploration than the first game but this Eternal trailer also gives us much cooler environments to go through. In the 2016 Doom, the game mostly lets you explore Hell but Eternal gives us more varied levels.

In the year 2151, Hell comes to Earth in Doom Eternal. See the Doom Slayer in action on humanity's home planet in the latest gameplay trailer for the sequel to 2016's fantastic first-person shooter reboot of one of gaming's all-time great franchises.

Doom Eternal will be released on March 20, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Google Stadia.
