Doom 64 Will be Really Cheap When it Comes Out

Bethesda will be releasing DOOM 64 next month and fans are pretty excited to see this port in action. This version of the game gave fans a very unique version of DOOM, with plenty of new content to sink your teeth into. Fans have been wanting to see this version of the game again and we're pretty excited to play it again, whether it be on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch.

Well, fans have discovered that the Nintendo eShop has already given this game a price and it's pretty cheap. Like DOOM and DOOM 2, DOOM 64 will only be $4.99, which is the price of some Starbucks coffees. DOOM 3 was also re-released but was $9.99, though that does have more content than the previous games, including extra DLC that was originally part of the BFG version.

Considering how DOOM will be celebrating its 25th anniversary soon with DOOM Eternal, it is nice being able to own every single game in the series in one system. Even the Switch has a port of DOOM (2016), even if that one is the "worst" version of the game, though it's still a good time for anyone who has the system but doesn't have a PS4 or Xbox One.

DOOM 64 will be re-released on March 20. While we understand fans getting this on the PS4 or Xbox One, the fact that it was originally released on a Nintendo console will likely get fans to buy this on the Switch. Either way, all versions will only be $4.99.
