Don't Expect To See Too Much Spider-Man In Avengers: Infinity War

Spider-Man is one of the biggest names in the Marvel Cinematic Universe today, and Tom Holland will be alongside the Avengers for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Though Spidey has been confirmed for the movie, Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that his appearance will feel just like his cameo in Captain America: Civil War.

During an interview with Fandango, Feige confirmed this about Holland's role in the movie:

"I think it might feel bigger a little bit because of Homecoming and because of what people know from it, but it's about on par with [Civil War]."

With that in mind, I think Peter Parker will actually be Earth-bound in the movie—meaning that he won't be shooting up to space with Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers. Instead, I think by the time Thanos attacks Earth, we'll see things from Spider-Man's point-of-view, and we'll get to watch him fend off more aliens on his own.

Just crossing my fingers here, but hopefully we also get a little look at the Defenders fighting too. Pretty please, Marvel?

That said, it's also possible that Holland will have a larger role in Avengers 4. And since we are getting some exposure to aliens, I'm sure there's a chance that Spider-Man will be donning his black symbiote suit at some point. It's not that farfetched.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
