Don't Expect Any Star Wars Panels At The San Diego Comic-Con This Year

Everyone is gearing for some big reveals at the San Diego Comic-Con, but sadly we won't be expecting anything from Star Wars since they won't be hosting any panels this year.

According to an unofficial SDCC blog, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has decided to skip the event. An official statement form the publicity unit of Lucasfilm also said:

"Our presence at SDCC 2017 will be focused on our booth on the convention floor, so there will be no press events or interview opportunities this year."

This could also mean the same for Han Solo as the movie also falls under the Lucasfilm umbrella. Not to mention the whole production is still picking up the pieces after directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired with just three weeks left into shooting.

Hopefully, even with the absence of a panel, Lucasfilm can still treat us to some trailer releases or even a teaser for the Han Solo movie. Sure the movie is still under production, but we could do with just a little teaser. Surely Lord and Miller have shot something that they could use.

Besides that, a lot of other franchises are teasing big things for Comic-Con, so expect more on huge movies like Justice League and Avengers: Infinity War.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out Dec. 15.
