Donald Glover Dodges Question About Young Lando Role

Earlier this month, word got out that casting for the young Lando Calrissian in the untitled Han Solo film had begun, and it was then reported that Donald Glover (The Martian, Community) was the filmmakers' top choice for the role, which was originally played by Billy Dee Williams in the Original Trilogy. During a recent interview with Time magazine, Glover was asked about his upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming role, and of course, the rumors about the young Lando role came up. Glover avoided answering the question directly, but he did talk about growing up with the films.

Seeing that he wouldn't deny the rumors, it sounds like there may have been conversations with Glover already. The film is set to release on May 25, 2018, and stars Alden Eirenreich as the young Han Solo. It is being directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord (
