Disney is rebooting the DuckTales franchise, and a whole new generation is going to fall in love with Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Scrooge McDuck. A new teaser features poor ol' Donald Duck, and it seems like he'll be dragged along by his nephews with their wacky shenanigans.

The video showcases some pretty slick artwork for the series. Animation looks very fluid, and there's a nice signature grit to how the characters are drawn. This time around, the series is taking inspiration from the classic comics by Carl Barks. What's more, Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie will be voiced by celebrities Danni Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), and Bobby Moynihan (SNL) respectively, and their Uncle Scrooge will be voiced by no other than Doctor Who's David Tennant.

Here's the synopsis:

The new DuckTales series' adventures will once again take viewers along as Scrooge McDuck, his curious and mischief-making grandnephews—Huey, Dewey, and Louie—and the optimistic-yet-temperamental Donald Duck embark on high-flying adventures worldwide. Other beloved characters slated to be in the new stories are Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Launchpad McQuack, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell & Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley, and Webbigail Vanderquack.

I wasn't even born when DuckTales came out, but damn am I hyped. Catch the series on Disney XD when it comes out this summer.
