Doctor Strange Warns The Avengers In New Infinity War TV Spot

It looks like Marvel's adding even more oil to Avengers: Infinity War ‘s marketing campaign now that the first installment in the studio's two-part Avengers movie is drawing closer and closer to its premiere.

Not only has Marvel been gifting fans with new images and posters, the studio's also been flooding the internet with new trailers and TV spots for Infinity War.

In one of the recently released previews for the upcoming superhero crossover movie, fans get to see Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) taking center stage, warning the Earth's Mightiest Heroes that "the fate of the universe is at stake."

The fate of Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme is also pretty much at stake too, seeing that Thanos is out to collect all the Infinity Stones from Earth and that includes the Eye of Agamoto sitting on Doctor Strange's chest.

Cumberbatch himself has been teasing the possibility of his character's death, telling the Radio Times in an interview yesterday that he might not make it out of Infinity War alive.

"It said at the end of the first film, if I'm right, that Doctor Strange will be back. I have been back in Thor: Ragnarok and obviously in this film. So there's nothing to say either contractually or otherwise that he's coming back again," the actor explained.

It'd be quite a shame to see Doctor Strange go though – the Sorcerer Supreme would fit right in James Gunn's Marvel Cosmic Universe, and fans would definitely want to see Doctor Strange 2. Let's cross our fingers and hope that Stephen Strange remains alive after Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
